NEW MODELS GUIDE
If you cannot be bothered to fill it in, is that your attitude to shoots?
* Never text speak, it's not professional.
* If you list your "works for" as paid only, you may well be missing the opportunity to work with good amateurs that don't pay but they pass your profile by because you don't list it. Better to list "depends" or "time for" on your profile. You can always say no politely.
*By the same token don't list Time for: but clearly never do any as you will look like you don't know what your doing. If someone asks for time for always reply politley even if the answer is no.
* Your main Image should grab attention. Hopefully not because you have no clothes on unless it's an outstanding image from a lighting point of view. An excellent other shot is good.
* Mobile phone images: Not ideal and if possible a set of images from a small digital compact would be better. Try and have a set of images at the levels you do. I always look at what i can do with the model and rubbish images don't worry me much, that's my job-to give you better ones, but a lot of photographers would pass your profile by.
* Statistics:Know your measurements. Waste Bust and Hips. If your not sure get a mail order catalogue and it has details on how to measure yourself for clothes. Better still get yourself professionally measured where they sell underwear ie M&S.
* Do not list every shoot you have ever been to on your profile. It's laborious to read and that's what the feedback is for. Why does someone need to see all your shoot's as a list? What does it show? Maybe you need to be noticed. Maybe your desperate to prove your worthy?. Let your images speak and keep feedback as your witness!
* A photographer will try to get an idea of your work ethic, personality and specifically how you look from the profile. try and be clear and give useful information. We don't want to know that you love animals, or drinking with your mates.
